VIN Number

Where in my car I can find the VIN number? (printed on chassis, not on plate under widshield) Wo in maine Fahrzeugt gefinded sich VIN (ander dann eine unter Widschutz)? Le Baron, '91, 3.0, Cabrio. European version.

The VIN number on plate under widshield is the only one. There nothing printed on chassis.

Ooops. That is very pitty as they don't want to pass the car through the yearly check (the year ago they didn't find but did not make any problem, two years ago - I do not remember). How is it in Germany? O, schade. Ich habe Problem mit jahrlich Prüfung. Wie ist das in Deutchland?

at my european version the VIN is engraved on the right strut tower. Have a look. good luck, Peter

Right is the passenger side (or from the look of repairer the driver side)? What exactly is strut tower? Is it the post back of the door (or front of the door)? Or something inder the hood / near engine? Any way thanks for the hope. As soon as a dawn somes I go to check it!

The strut tower is the part where the shock absorbers (struts) are fixed on. You see it when the hood is open. The right side of a car always is the passenger side, accept england ;-)

Thanks. I would search through. BTW, Peter, is 'AHK' in your nick a 'Anhanger Kuplung'? Isn't it a profanation of Le Baron to tow a trailer?
